Junichi Osawa was appointed president and representative director of ACIST Japan in 2016.
He brings a depth of experience in interventional cardiology and a strong reputation among key industry stakeholders in Japan.
He served as president of Volcano Japan for the past 10 years building the business from inception to the acquisition by Philips in 2015. Prior to Volcano, Osawa also worked for Medtronic in Japan as the managing director for their vascular business and spent 20 years at GE, holding a number of roles of increasing responsibility in the US and Asia.
